Flexibility has always been the number one priority for Framelco. Being able to adapt product formulations to meet a client’s needs requires a certain knowledge and know how. Framelco's team of R & D, led by Mr. R. S. Ketelaar, has decades of experience on all different fields of animal species and geographical regions. Whether Thai pig and poultry related advice is desired or recommendations regarding dairy in Russia, Framelco's R & D team can ensure premium class council.  

Besides using past knowledge for developing future solutions, experience, Framelco believes that it is equally important to seek for future knowledge. All great discoveries start with thinking 'outside the box'. Thinking the unexpected and unusual leads to new market approaches. These new ideas are never immediately accepted by the animal nutrition market. Replacing all acidifiers in animal feed with our FRA Glycerides and thereby stimulating the endogenous acid and enzyme production of the animal is just one example of Framelco's 'thinking outside the box'. Although many researchers found this philosophy hard to believe at the beginning, regular consumers in over 50 countries world wide are now witnessing effects they've never seen before with acidifiers. 

In line with Framelco's policy of continuously striving for improvement these environment changing thoughts can be nourished and panned out resulting in several revolutionary product lines such as the FRA C-line. 

Other research fields and topics are enzymes where we have guaranteed activities of over 8 different types of enzyme activities instead of side activities. Mycotoxinbinders and preservatives preventing mycotoxins is also a field where we have a sustainable market.

Collaborations with universities in Europe, Asia and the middle East are of great importance. Even though at Framelco we have a saying: 'seeing is believing', the market always demands official data. Through joint projects with research institutions around the world and at its own laboratory Framelco provides this scientifical substantiation.
