Various international organizations have reported that the global population annually increases with 80 million people. This means that in a few more years we will run out of arable land for producing crops and other cereals that we need to feed the world. We will cut down the majority of the world’s forests to make more land available for cultivation. The shortage of utilizable water will be a big issue. The conventional production ways will not be able to provide the solution for the rapidly growing demand for food. We need to produce more food to feed the current population.
